How do I register?

Almost all students are required to register through their Aurora account. 

Registration is complex and can not be explained in full here, however, there are online registration tutorials available.
 

That being said, registration is generally as follows:

  • Sign in to Aurora
  • Select Enrolment and Academic Records
  • Select Registration and Exams
  • Select Term and choose the semester you are registering for.
  • Select Add or Drop Classes
  • Select Look up Classes*
  • Search for the class sections you would like to register for.
  • Select the check box next to the section you would like to register for.
  • Click Register to register for the courses.


It is strongly recommended that you plan out your schedule before you register, this will make the process easier for you, and result in fewer registration errors.

Please note: it is very common to get errors when registering, this can be due to time conflicts or other issues. These are explained in more detail in the registration tutorials and on our Registration Errors page.
