How can I take courses at another university and transfer the credits to the University of Manitoba?
Any University of Manitoba student wishing to take courses at another institution must first get permission from the University of Manitoba. Students must apply for a Letter of Permission.
To apply for a Letter of Permission:
Students will find the Letter of Permission application through their Aurora account.
There is a $81.25 application fee.
Your Letter of Permission will be emailed to your UM email account, and will be directly emailed to the host institution you have selected.
The application takes approximately four to six weeks to process, so it is recommended that students apply as early as possible to ensure that they receive approval in time to register at a separate institution.
