How do I obtain proof of registration?
Proof of Registration can be obtained from the Registrar?s Office. Options include the Enrolment Verification Letter which is official and a Registration History which is unofficial. Below is some information about each document:
Enrolment Verification Letters
Enrolment Verification Letters are an official document that proves you are/were registered in a specific term.
To order an Enrolment Verification Letter
- Login to Aurora
- Select Enrolment and Academic Records
- Select Student Records
- Select Enrolment Verification
- Select Request Enrolment Verification, from here, follow the steps on the screen to order your Enrolment Verification
These letters can be sent by mail or email.
Mailed Letters
- Enrolment Verification letters are taking an average of 5 business days to process before being sent out in the mail. Mailed letters are sent through Canada Post. For estimates on mailing times, please visit their website.
- Letters being sent by mail are charged $12.00 per copy.
Emailed Letters
- Enrolment Verifications being delivered by email are sent out on the next business day.
- Emailed letters are charged $31 per copy, this is due to them being expedited.
Couriered Letters
- Enrolment Verification Letters being delivered by courier take an average of 5 business days to process before being sent.
- The fee for courier will depend on where the Enrolment Verification Letter is being sent:
- $20 ? anywhere in Winnipeg
- $50 ? anywhere in Canada or the United States
- $100 ? international / overseas locations
Registration History
A registration history is an Unofficial document used to confirm that you are currently registered. These documents are free of charge and can be requested over email.
To order a Registration History:
- Email RO@umanitoba.ca from your Student email
- Ask for a Registration History
- Ensure you include your name, student number, and the semesters you'd like verification for.
- You will receive the document back by email in under 5 business days.
